The Shaker 2 Panel FD30 White Primed Door from esteemed manufacturers Mendes is the door of choice with many property owners. The classic Shaker 2 panel design will look great in a wealth of properties and can be used in a wealth of rooms from bedrooms to sitting rooms. The doors have an FD30 fire safety rating which supplies up to 30 minutes of fire protection. These doors have a white primed finish that needs treatment before it can be hung.

A maximum 2-16mm trimming to each edge which must be removed evenly, (Depending on Manufacturer) please Refer to Technical Information 'Trimming Allowances' for full details, please check, your manufacturer before commencing any work.

All doors should be fitted using three ball bearing hinges. In the case of Fire Doors, you must use sufficiently Fire Rated hinges.

Latches and locks should not be fitted adjacent to door mid-rails as this may compromise the joint.

All hardware screw holes should be pre-drilled to prevent splitting of the timber.

To preserve the Fire Rating on any Fire Door you must ensure the door is correctly fitted and appropriate hardware is used in accordance with the Fire Certificate.

Rebated door pairs are supplied with separate instructions for fitting / trimming.

Any areas of the doors which are trimmed during the fitting process, including any cut outs for door furniture, will need to be re-finished in full before the fitting process has been completed.
