The Varese FD30 Fully Finished Walnut Fire Door offers homeowners great flexibility. A maximum 2-16mm trimming to each edge which must be removed evenly, (Depending on Manufacturer) please Refer to Technical Information 'Trimming Allowances' for full details, please check, your manufacturer before commencing any work.

All doors should be fitted using three ball bearing hinges. In the case of Fire Doors, you must use sufficiently Fire Rated hinges.

Latches and locks should not be fitted adjacent to door mid-rails as this may compromise the joint.

All hardware screw holes should be pre-drilled to prevent splitting of the timber.

To preserve the Fire Rating on any Fire Door you must ensure the door is correctly fitted and appropriate hardware is used in accordance with the Fire Certificate.

Rebated door pairs are supplied with separate instructions for fitting / trimming.

Any areas of the doors which are trimmed during the fitting process, including any cut outs for door furniture, will need to be re-finished in full before the fitting process has been completed.
